“On approach up the driveway, the size of the house is immediately impressive, but it's real charm is evident the moment you step inside. If you're looking for unpretentious luxury accommodation, then Dinjalla is it. The house has a genuinely welcoming aura - complete with an already-lit fire, cheese platter and bottle of local wine to greet you upon arrival! Each of the rooms is beautifully fitted-out, and the deck overlooking the valley is just the spot to take a deep breath of fresh country air and soak in the spectacular view. Dinjalla on the Hill is the perfect Hunter Valley hide-away. Our only complaint? Having to leave! We're already trying to work out when we can come back!
Katie is a most fine representative of Dinjalla - and an asset to the team. At all times, she was most helpful in any questions I had, and a good part of the reason I chose Dinjalla above all other self contained accommodation in the Hunter Valley. The website is also a real asset - I spent over a month looking at various properties online, and must've made enquiries to over 30 different places to stay. I wanted to give my guests the perfect holiday, and wouldn't settle for anything less than the best. I had enquired about Dinjalla Cottage and Studio, and Katie returned to me by email suggesting Dinjalla on the Hill. The moment I browsed through the website, I knew it was the perfect house for us! The directions on how to get to the house were great -we all had to arrive at different times due to our work schedules, and not one member of our group got lost! The instructions on how to use the Key Safe were clear and easily understood…… To me, the value for money at Dinjalla on the Hill can only be appreciated when you are able to spend a decent amount of time there, and enjoy the entire house and the surrounds over the course of a number of days. If we were only there for 2 nights as we'd originally intended, I don't think we would've explored much of the bush surrounding the house, or have enjoyed the use of the billiards table or bicycles, or have spent much time in the Jacuzzi, or lazing about on the deck. There just wouldn't have been enough time to do everything. But, during the course of the week, we got to enjoy all those things - and that's what made the house great value for money….”

"We had a wonderful time at Dinjalla on the weekend. My whole family was so excited to arrive & see that we were staying in such an amazing property in such idyllic country surroundings. From the crackling cozy fire to the yummy cheese plate & wine, everything was perfect. The bbq dinner you arranged for us was delicious & a fabulous service. My daughters loved the fish pond, cows & tyre swing & the grown ups loved the great brazier fire. It was a great 70th birthday memory for our Mum who thoroughly enjoyed herself. Thank you again for all your great service & for sharing Dinjalla with us, we hope to visit again in the future." Justine & family - June 2008

"Thank you, thank you, thank you! We had the best time at Dinjalla – you guys really have thought of EVERYTHING!  And how lovely to arrive to fresh bread, eggs, bacon, milk, juice, wine and that wonderful cheese platter – it was much appreciated! There was so much to do there that we didn’t get a chance to use everything (the table tennis, bowls, movies etc!), so we will most definitely be back!  Our group go away A LOT, and we all agreed that Dinjalla is the best place we’ve ever been to – pure luxury!" Cory & guests - June 2008

"Our party would just like to express their appreciation for all that you did to make our stay at Dinjalla enjoyable - from the wine, sherry and platters that you left us to the bubbly you provided for my birthday.  Dinjalla is a lovely home and we could have easily spent all of our week there as there were so many things to do.
Our grandson was delighted with being able to feed the fish, catch yabbies (though not so keen once he saw what a yabbie actually was), with the toys you provided for him and just being able to run around his big "backyard".  He also loved seeing wallabies, the alpacas, horses and cows.  He had a delightful time!
We grown-ups also thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing week, and I had a 60th birthday holiday to always cherish.  Thank you.
We will thoroughly recommend Dinjalla as a great place to stay in the Hunter

"I really couldn't think of any improvements to suggest as it seems you had thought of everything. We were all blown away by all the little touches. What an amazing home, you had really gone out of your way to make your guests have a fun and relaxed time, in the way that you would treat close friends coming to borrow your home. Well done we absolutely loved it! " Jenna - December 2007

"Keep on what you are doing. We had a wonderful time at Dinjalla and will be coming back in the near future. We could not have had a better weekend." Guest - October 2007

"We were all thoroughly impressed and loved the fact that the music was playing and the outside fire was stoked for us, it was very welcoming. The mown path with lights leading the way to the fire was impressive along with the fairy lights and spotlights at the base of the gum trees that came on at night. We would definitely love to come back again, sooner than later… The directions for the property were excellent… Excellent value for money, we had kids in the third bedroom but if we had 3 paying couples it would have been even better…. I can’t think of too many suggestions as everything was thought of from music and CDs to activities, toys and books for our children….”

“The photographs on the website really didn't do Dinjalla any justice! My boyfriend got there before me and wouldn't even let me get my bags out of the car, as he couldn't wait to show me the place! …my parents are arriving from the UK for christmas and we are hoping to arrange a stay at the beginning of January. Our trip was totally uncomplicated by having our wine tour booked and arranged for us. We were able to have our own mini bus and were all very impressed by the tour guide and also the cost….
It was a unanimous opinion that Dinjalla was great value for money - Very affordable for a weekend stay. To be honest I don't think I could think of any suggestions of improvement. Dinjalla is perfect just the way it is.”

"Our first impression on arrival was Wow! The accommodation was actually better than what it looked like on the internet, it was maintained in such good condition and looked brand new.  It was a breath of fresh air to drive into Dinjalla and slowly explore the house and little luxuries it offered.  I kept waiting to find the ‘gotchya’ but there just wasn’t one. It was really evident that the owners/management had really thought it out and supplied every little luxury in advance. I especially liked the pre-prepared fire, all we needed to do was put a match into it and it started first go.....There were lovely little touches and discoveries throughout our stay, for example, finding the recline on the lounge, I know this is a simple thing, but, oh soooo comfortable. The outlook was beautiful. We would love to come back again.... you did help us uncomplicate our trip and life.  We had just had a baby and had a disaster at home, staying at Dinjalla was like therapy we needed to wind down and relax. To pay the full price for a weekend would have been a bit expensive for us to do on our own, however, having another family or friends come along would make that more affordable and it is the kind of place that you want to share, there is plenty of room for other people. I was actually trying to think of how the accommodation could have been improved while I was staying there.  If you like I was trying to find a fault because it just seemed so good and there must have been some room for improvement somewhere.  However, I can honestly say I can’t.  I was blown away by it, for example when the bom fire was lit for us."

"Extremely impressed, the house is gorgeous. A lovely blend of country & Contemporary.....situated in a great & tranquil location. Very keen to come again. The attention to detail made it special, fresh flowers in the bedrooms and toys for the children. Fantastic service... attentive without being intrusive. To be honest everything was sensational."
